Our Story.

Our story of beekeeping started in in June of 2017. One beautiful Sunday morning, while strolling on our local Farmers Market, I stroke a conversation with the man selling local honey. I found out that he's been caring for bees for many years, right from his back yard in neighboring San Mateo. He didn't have to convince me how great the honey was, since I've been buying his honey for few months by then. It was awesome. The more we talked, the more excited I got about having my own bees. Just think of all the good the bees do to our plants, we need bees, I said to myself, and on top of it, they share some of this sweet treat with us.

I went to our local beekeepers guild to get more info, when I found there is a whole community of local beekeepers. People whom I can talk to, where do you even get bees? How does that work? I managed to buy 3 colonies (families) of bees from another beekeeper, and a week later I became one myself.

I've never had so much fun! My young kids are learning about beekeeping alongside me as well, and thats very rewarding in itself, never mind the fact that we managed to harvest our first batch of honey 3 months later. The honey was delicious. And that's how Belmont Beelicious started. This year our apiary has grown and we have much more honey. Even honey for sale.

Honest Honey.

Never treated with chemical medications and drawing 100% from their own honeycomb, Belmont Beelicious bees create the purest honey possible. Our honey is only filtered from honey comb caps, never heated, and is packed with all the beneficial enzymes and pollen that the majority of store-bought honey lacks. Simply put, it's honest, locally made honey.
